The idea for Hello Friend started with a simple, repeated frustration: finding trusted local care for your pets takes way too much effort. You search Google, scroll Yelp, ask Facebook groups, try Rover, check Nextdoor — and you still end up with five browser tabs and no confidence.
On the other side of the equation, independent groomers, trainers, sitters, and boarding operators have the same problem in reverse. They're excellent at what they do, but they're invisible to the pet owners in their own neighborhoods. They have no booking system, no digital presence, and no reliable pipeline of new clients.
Hello Friend is the answer to both sides of that problem: a single platform where pet owners and animal service professionals find each other, build trust, and transact — plus a community that turns the shared love of animals into something lasting.
We added adoption, a community feed, pet shop storefronts, animal emergency alerts, and a built-in donation platform — not because a product manager said to, but because real pet owners and providers told us those things mattered.
