A platform built from frustration, shaped by love for animals, and launched to close the gap between pet owners and the people who care for them.
A Real Problem. A Real Solution.
The idea for Hello Friend started with a simple, repeated frustration: finding trusted local care for your pets takes way too much effort. You search Google, scroll Yelp, ask Facebook groups, try Rover, check Nextdoor — and you still end up with five browser tabs and no confidence.
On the other side of the equation, independent groomers, trainers, sitters, and boarding operators have the same problem in reverse. They're excellent at what they do, but they're invisible to the pet owners in their own neighborhoods. They have no booking system, no digital presence, and no reliable pipeline of new clients.
Hello Friend is the answer to both sides of that problem: a single platform where pet owners and animal service professionals find each other, build trust, and transact — plus a community that turns the shared love of animals into something lasting.
We added adoption, a community feed, pet shop storefronts, Pet of the Month contests, animal welfare reporting and easy giving to animal charities — not because a product manager said to, but because real pet owners and providers told us those things mattered.
"I couldn't find a groomer for my dog who had a working website, real reviews, and actual availability — all at the same time. I had to call seven different places. That's when I knew the problem was bigger than just me."

Built in Flutter, so the same app runs in any phone or computer browser today and can ship to iOS and Android next. Pet people are always on their phones — the platform should be too.
Transparent Business Model
Our revenue comes from subscriptions and platform fees — not from advertising or data sales. Organic search results are ranked by location and relevance. Paid promotion is clearly labeled and never influences base rankings.
