Verified business profile
Photos, hours, contact details, services with your own prices, and specialty tags pet owners can search — the app can suggest tags from your bio. New providers are ID-verified before they go live.
Appointment requests
Pet owners request a date and time for a service; you accept or decline. Every new booking comes with a short AI-written summary of the pet, the service and the owner’s notes.
Card payments & payouts
Customers pay by card in the app. You connect your own Stripe account from the dashboard and are paid out through Stripe Connect — no invoicing.
Your own storefront
List products next to your services and sell to local pet owners. Customers can apply their Treats; you see orders in your dashboard.
Adoption listings
Shelters, rescues and breeders post adoptable animals with photos and details, review adoption requests, and chat and schedule meetups with adopters.

Hello Friend’s fee is taken from payments customers make to you in the app. Stripe’s card processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢) is separate.

Provider FAQ
Do I need a Stripe account?
To take card payments, yes — you connect one from your dashboard (it takes a few minutes and Stripe handles the paperwork). Until it’s connected, pet owners can still find your profile, but they can’t pay you in the app — so paid bookings and shop orders can’t go through yet.
What do I need for verification?
A government-issued ID, uploaded during setup. Our team reviews it along with your profile; you’ll get an email when you’re approved.
Can I sell products without offering services?
Yes. Any provider can open a storefront and list products; services are optional.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No. During beta there’s no monthly fee at all, and you can delete your account from Settings whenever you like.
Where is Hello Friend available?
We’re launching in the Charlotte, NC area — including Ballantyne, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville and Fort Mill. It runs in any web browser on phone, tablet or computer; iOS and Android apps are planned.
