Pricing FAQs
Optional paid subscription plans launch in January 2027, after the beta. Beta members will be notified before any charges begin, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or stay on the free Calico / Robin tier at any time.
Your account transitions to the free Calico (pet owner) or Robin (provider) tier at no charge. You'll get advance notice and the option to upgrade to a paid plan or lock in Founder pricing before anyone else.
Yes — pay once and your plan, treats, and fee rates are locked for the lifetime of your account. No subscriptions, no renewals, no price increases. The Hello Friend Founder ($349) gives you lifetime Mako benefits, and the Founding Provider ($899) gives you lifetime Jaguar benefits with fees locked at 3% / 5% forever.
Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period, then transition to the free tier.
Yes. For pet owners, annual billing saves about 33% compared to monthly: Husky $120/yr, Mako $240/yr. For providers, annual saves about 2 months: Rabbit $249/yr, Jaguar $499/yr. Annual options go live when paid plans launch.
Yes — Stripe Connect payment processing is live now, and platform fees apply to every completed service or product transaction at the rate shown on your plan above (as low as 3% on Jaguar and Founding Provider). Rehoming fees are always 0% — you keep the full amount you set. Pet owners never pay a platform fee.
