Two ways to help from the Hello Friend app: report an animal in trouble to our team, or give to an established animal-welfare charity through its own official donation page. Hello Friend never touches the money.
Simple, direct giving
Hello Friend doesn’t process donations. We point you to each organization’s own verified giving page, so your gift goes straight to them.
Open “Donate” in the app
It’s in the More menu for pet owners and on the provider dashboard.
Pick an organization
Read each charity’s mission and what your gift helps fund before you choose.
Give on their site
We open the charity’s official donation page. You choose the amount and pay them directly.
They send the receipt
Because you donate to the organization itself, the receipt comes from them — 100% of your gift is theirs.

Reports go to the Hello Friend team, who review each one. In an emergency, call local animal control or 911 first.
Abuse or neglect
Cruelty, neglect or mistreatment you’ve witnessed — with the location and details.
Injured or stranded animal
A hurt or stranded animal that needs help, with how urgent it is.
Roadkill
Animal remains that need to be removed.
Lost-and-found pet alerts are not part of the app yet.
